Tested #Neutrogena Wave

January14

I’m officially being influenced by a commercial. Since I read the ad on UK Glamour, I was very interested on testing one. Too bad none of neutrogena product are sold here in Indonesia.  Not even on watson or any other beauty store that I know of.  The ad says that Boots are selling this product, is there any boots store still available in Jakarta? If not, too bad indeed, because this particular brand fits my skin perfectly.

Back to the wave, I was happy  when I found this product on Singapore Watson. Needless to say, yes I bout the wave and also several pads to last me several months. And now they even have a pads for blackhead eliminator! Wish the product was out last December.

After using it I was quite happy with the device. It’s not an ordinary way of cleansing your face. It involves some electronic device that gives a little vibration to your skin. It message your face as you are cleansing it. Good huh? You can see how to use it on each box, or read it at the UK site.

Learn, Learn, Learn

January12

It is never to late to learn new things! But when is the best time to learn it? Well, nothing suits best than the start of the new year.

Luckily enough, I bump into one nice site that could help someone to learn anything and everything he/she wants and could think of [schoolofeverything.com]. To my surprise, it turn out there are several [well, it's only two] entry if you search Indonesia;

Indarmin Darmadi, Indonesian Language tutor
Stuart Pike, Scuba Diving Instructor in Lombok Indonesia

Although it was good, at least there is entry from Indonesia,  somehow I was hoping for more entries, and I wish  I can find the two theme I was looking for: Boxing & Hip Hop dancing.

3R

January7

Nope, it’s not a size of your holiday photo’s.

3R is the title from one of Jack Johnson song, and it was one of my fave song when it comes to environmental friendly song. Jack was telling the kids or whoever listen to the 3R song about the trinity concept of reduce-reuse-recycle.

Three it’s a magic number
Yes it is, it’s a magic number
Because two times three is six
And three times six is eighteen
And the eighteenth letter in the alphabet is R
We’ve got three R’s we’re going to talk about today
We’ve got to learn to
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

This song just pop up in my head when I stumble upon one particular blog [lonelybranches.blogspot.com] that portrays a lonely Christmas tree post Christmas day. They are so lonely, somebody should adopt them!  lonelybranches’s is quite a new blog and it showcases only several picture of a lovely pine tree post Christmas. I wish I could know more and well perhaps know what eventually happen to the lonely Christmas trees out there. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s A Pink Taxi!

January4

Call me to girly, but I  do love the color pink.  But when it comes to taxi is pink better than blue or yellow?

The answer is YES! [at least in Mexico - Puebla]

For those of you who thinks it’s much to Barbie-ish or even to Pink Panter-ish of a Taxi, I really think it’s not. Anyway, pink is just another (adorable) color! And it stands out among seas of cars.

The Pink Taxi

There are a series of Pink Taxi, you can compared it to the notorious Blue Bird in Jakarta, that is now operated in Mexico. But this range of taxis offers more “value added” compare to the regular taxis.  It has been said that each pink taxi is equipped with a beauty kit [my dream car!], a GPS system [reading a map is not that diff, even for us woman] and an alarm button [wonder what's the last value added good for]. Another unique selling point of this taxi is that;

“It doesn’t stop for man!”
“Each taxi was drive by a woman” Read the rest of this entry »
