The Beginning of A Healthy Me

Pstttt….did I tell you guys that being healthy is one of my 2010 resolution, aside from another obsession to run in 10K’s event?

OK, sebenarnya bukan exactly being healthy sih, this is what I made exactly, right before i fell asleep on New Years Eve: “mau muat kembali ke jeans-jeans lama dan berada di kisaran berat 50kg”. Not much ya? But you know what? For a girl that is in her early 30’s (LOL…I used to say early 20, and then mid 20’s) it’s not that easy to shed the kg!!

Not when:
I work (like all the time)
I eat (like whenever I can)
I’m lazy (to go to the gym and hit that treadmill, so my credit card is doing it’s exercise instead of me)

Jadi…I need a reason to be healthy and make my resolution come true!
Dan that reason is finally HERE! I’ve never thought I’ll be on of the  Soyjoiy Healthylicious program.  Gue rasa memang sudah saatnya I fit in those jeans and be healthy :)

What do you want, more than anything, at this very moment?
This question is far too easy for me, I already has the answer about one month ago:

I want a good nap and a good night sleep

Easy?
Not exactly…
Karena gue punya kebiasaan kerja 24 jam. Let see, bangun jam 7/8, sampai kantor 9.30 kerja sampai paling cepat jam 20.30, sampai rumah biasanya baru 21.30 and then saya biasanya online lagi dan kali ini to work on some teaching material. I was asleep around 1 am. This goes everyday even in Saturday. Hardworking girl you might say, what can I say, I like to push things until I know where my boundaries are.

Jadi sekarang, setiap menginjak hari minggu, I felt really blessed.
I love it when you can just stay at home, in the comfort of your own bed, just snoozing off. Blessed the world.
A good DVD or a good book, aircon, snuggle up to them pillows, couldn’t wait for my weekend to come.

After 12 pm

I work 24/7 and I find it hard to get a good night sleep. Sleep at one or two am each day and wakes up at seven or eight am. Feels like just not enough. Now, if you are that busy, how a girl supposed to get enough beauty sleep to maintain her radiance?

After several sleepless night, I found that:

  1. Having a fresh set of pillow case each weeks helps a lot. Especially those which are fresh from laundry.
  2. Take a hot bath, no matter how late it is to relax all your muscle and body. I usually felt very sleepy after a long nice hot bath
  3. Drink cold water. It makes me more relax thus helped me to sleep
  4. My rose room freshener, I love rose. That’s why I pick my rose room freshener. I felt happy and sleep easily.

Those four things makes me sleep like a baby and waking up feeling fresh.
Try it, perhaps it would help if you have trouble sleeping
And oh yeah, happy long weekend to all!
