Last weekend I attend one of my distant cousin wedding.  She was one of Miss Indonesia winner, so obviously she was a raving beauty.

The wedding place is a very nice and cozy place for a garden theme wedding. That said, it would be more wonderfull if the weather is friendly and I read the invitation more carefully and opted for a different type of shoes. Stilleto’s doesn’t get friednly with a damp soil. But all in all I still think it was a beautiful wedding.

After doing my usual food hunting business, I’ve bump into several Miss Indonesia contestant, that well yes they are beautiful. But strange things happen, now after 1 day, I could not remember their beauty.  To think of it, perhaps it because they spend time flocking together like a swan, i dint have time to realize their individual beauty.

This is a crazy fact;
When you are beautiful, but you hang out with the beautiful crowd, you would not create that “wow” factor.

To me, the wow factor has been won by my cousin Dinda and my other distant cousin Arin. Not because I know them since they were little. But because they have grown to be an individual swan. That afternoon, Dinda let her hair down, wear a short batik dress with a very nice brown heels. She stroll along the garden to the ceremony place. And well, I must say that she looks beautiful.

This is what I try to tell you about the individual swan.
1. choose the right way to appear
Individual Swan opted to make an entrance. Instead of gigling together with her flock. Walking alone with a radiant smile across the garden is one of the effective way to make an entrance.
2. Choose the dress to flatter youself
Wearing a killer dress and shoes was the option to make someone see’s the beautiful you. Don’t wear only the “in” dress, but find your own style. It would work wonders
3. Wearing the right make up
My two cousin that I mentioned earlier have a dark complection. But they rock the wedding. I really think they look more beautiful than the flock of swan I just saw earlier.

Anyhow…yes, the swans are beautiful. But swans, I think you have to consider diferentiate yourself. Find your version of beauty. You look too much alike, one to the other.
