It’s All In The Eyes
“Smile with your eyes”
This is the same old advice Tyra Banks always suggest her models in American Next Top Model.
At first I figure, how on earth do you smile with you eyes. And second, what so important about it anyway?
And then it hit me. Yes, eyes is an essential part of your overall make up. If you have the right kind of eye make up it will dramatically affect your face.
How to make a good eyes? It’s a secret I would like to share:
1. Do shade and highlight. Yes, we all hear that shade is important from a whole lot of make up artist. And if a whole lot of them say that it is important, IT MUST BE!
2. Prepare the surface. How to do it? Always apply foundation over the eye area and seal with a translucent powder or cream-colored shadow to stop it from clumping in the lines of the lid. This creates a smoother surface for your eye shadow and makes it easier to blend.
3. Shape up your brow. For me brow is like your eyes frame. No matter how beautiful your eyes is, if your brow is neglected, it feels unfinished. So please remember to always fill your brow in. It will build a stronger definition for your eyes. Just use a newly sharpened brow pencil on its side and apply with a feathering motion to avoid creating a hard and artificial eyebrow line. Brush brows before and after for a totally natural look.
